"Amy is a joy to know and work with. We have 4 kids who are all so different. She's done a great job getting to know each of them and finding things they love to do, especially the hands-on activities for science and history this year. They look forward to seeing her and she is such a blessing to our family. I don't know what we'd do without her!" -- satisfied parent. Amy has planned science & history for their middle-school students, taught math at elementary through college level for all 4 students, and consulted with them on dual enrollment and college/university planning for their high school students.

Amy holds a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a master's degree in business. She is passionate about teaching and especially about math - she believes all students can love and be successful doing math. She is known for her ability to ignite an interest in math in even the most reluctant math learners. She lives in Mission Viejo with her husband and their son, whom they homeschooled from grade 3 to college. He is now double-majoring in mechanical engineering and mathematics.
