Homeschool Math Teacher
Diagnostic Testing &
Curriculum Selection
I provide: needs assessment; curriculum selection; customized curriculum development; course planning; skill-building; problem-solving training and practice; and parent training in how to teach math. I will work with you to determine your student’s learning style and select materials and activities best suited to their interests. I meet with families from once a semester to several times a week, depending on your needs.
Direct Math Instruction
I teach students of all ages in elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra, geometry, trigonometry, statistics, data science, pre-calculus, and calculus. Whether your student is struggling, on-target, or advanced, I specialize in making math classes FUN! I work one on one with students and in small groups. I can teach from your curriculum or customize the class to suit your needs. I incorporate games, puzzles and hands-on activities, tailoring the learning to your student’s style and interests. Proven results: In less than three months, students have progressed through six months to one year of material with excellent comprehension.
Enrichment &
Gifted Programs
I have years of experience working with high achieving and gifted students. I can create a program for your student to provide enrichment and dig deeper than traditional math curriculum. We explore topics like non-Euclidean geometry, group theory, secret codes and ciphers, number theory, patterns, puzzles, and games.
Charter Schools, PSP & PSA Families
I am an approved vendor for several popular independent study charter schools, and approved to teach UC A-G math classes at the high school level. I am willing to discuss adding your school as well. I also work with all kinds of homeschool methods, including PSP & PSA students.

About me
My bachelor's degree is in mathematics and my master's degree is in business. I am passionate about teaching! There's nothing I love more than seeing that spark of understanding light up a student's eyes.
I teach all levels of mathematics from K-12 and college, for both after-school students and home school students. I especially enjoy working with gifted students and students who are struggling in math. So far I have not met a student whom I couldn't help understand and love math.
My motto is: "Math is fun! Math is important! Everyone can do math!"™
